Everyone’s talking about Flatpay. Nobody’s talking about the exit Sander Janca-Jensen just made.

Everyone’s talking about Flatpay. Nobody’s talking about the multi-million $ company Sander Janca-Jensen just exited to a listed Swiss giant.

Everyone knows Sander Janca-Jensen as the man behind Flatpay. Fewer people know that Flatpay is just one of his businesses.

Look him up in the Danish business registry and a pattern emerges. Same team, same recipe, different industries: direct field sales to small businesses and simple, transparent pricing.

He has repeated that recipe across five industries in just 6 years:

  • 2020: Måtteservice Danmark. Gross profit went from negative to DKK 21.5M in 2025, and the company posted a positive operating result for the first time.
  • 2022: Flatpay. Denmark’s fastest unicorn ever, valued at €1.5B after just three years.
  • 2022: Høreservice Danmark. Gross profit grew from DKK 3.6M to DKK 31.4M in two years. Last month, it was acquired by the publicly listed Swiss hearing aid giant Sonova.
  • 2024: Blackbird. Sander Jensen owns around 10–15% of this coffee subscription company and it also raised funding from Seed Capital just a few months ago.
  • 2025: Norlix. An AI-powered insurance broker where he sits on the board. It raised DKK 30M from Seed Capital five months after launch (same investor as in Flatpay and Blackbird).

So two companies founded in the same year became a unicorn and an exit to a global listed corporation. And he’s still running one of them as CEO.

Sander has built a model and playbook that works again and again, across industries, with the same solid team around him. And remember, we’re just 6 years in.

Is Sander Denmark’s version of Elon Musk?
